GONG STYLE CHI GUNG

Chi Gung (Qigong) is an ancient art that achieves the effect of moving the CHI (vital energy) through the body by willing its movement with the emotional mind. Eventually the emotional mind gives way to the wisdom mind and this Chi movement then becomes natural; as natural as the breathing process. Breath brings oxygen to the body... the more oxygen, the healthier the body. It is a fact that disease can not thrive in a body that has large amounts of oxygen in the blood.
The movement in the Chi Gung is very subtle because it is a departure from the obvious material mindset to the quiet, hidden, spiritual experience.

"Less and less do you need to force things, until finally you arrive at non-action. When nothing is done,,nothing is left undone."
                                                                                       Tao Te Ching

There are many things that, not too long ago, were considered preposterous and impossible by our culture. Today that is changing, and the change is rapid as we race toward a new awakening and a period of growth and openness. Chi Gung has been re-discovered and is being practiced by more people every day.

The late Master Kenny Gong of Canton China, brought with him to this country, a true understanding of this wonderful system. He taught it for over 25 years in New York City, and Tom Morrissey was blessed by the fact that he was one of Master Gong's students. Tom was certified as one of those entrusted to carry Master Gong's teachings forward.
